Yesterday we went to Sake Restaurant located right under the Hammer Hall on Southbank.
Unfortunately Sake Restaurant in Melbourne wasn't that great as its sibling venue in Brisbane, which I had a change to visit about two months ago.
Menu was slightly different to the one in Brisbane, missing some highlights, but even same dishes tasted differently. Sake was a way watery, so we even thought it was a still water by mistake. Quality of dishes was average, nothing exceptional or extraordinary as expected from place of that class. It all finished with 30 minutes wait for desserts despite almost no diners.
So the verdict is: overpriced place located in a nice spot (2/5)
